About Johnny LeAir

My name is Johnny LeAir and this is the short story behind the motivation to create Von Rebel Apparel.

To keep it real and str8 to the point. Until I was paroled from the lovely California Department of Corrections in July of 2021, I was classified as a career criminal. A status I held for the better part of 30 years.

Like most individuals who found themselves locked away from society, alone in a prison cell, fighting the demons in our heads. I was no exception! Depression and self-worthlessness are huge factors that I can only blame myself for.

Through many mistakes and failed attempts to become a motivational factor in my journey in this life. I believe I’ve finally found my little niche that I can actually say I’m doing something other than what I’ve been known to do. (fistbump2self)

Moving forward… I have finally dedicated this little time I have left on this little blue spinning rock to promoting my original art and designs through this entrepreneurial endeavor called: Von Rebel Apparel.

The idea for the brand manifested itself years ago, sitting in a prison cell in Palm Hall, doing a parole violation. However, I didn’t have the drive or necessary tools to make it happen mainly because I was a very violent, self-centered individual with other things on my mind.

With the help of my dude, Steve Kinzey, we have created the dream that was and is now Von Rebel Apparel.

I hope you all take a seat and ride with us as we rock this ship, from side to side.
